How do i set my phone to download apps to the sd card and not internal memory?

Hi @LongJohnWeatherwax, welcome to our forum!

I'm afraid that you can't download applications directly to your SD card. You can however download/install them and then move them to the SD card if application supports this.

To do that, go to Settings > Apps > tap the name of the application > Storage > Change > SD card. Do note that you will only see "Change" if the application supports being moved to an external storage.

When I tried doing this, the apps were lost and even videos and pics got errors and I can't access them anymore.

Hi @CarlosSantos, very sorry to hear about what has happened.

It does sound like some sectors on the SD card weren't working correctly or the SD card was damaged in some way and that is why the data that was moved was lost/got corrupted.

Do you have another SD card that you can mount in the device and take a few photos and move them to another SD card?
