Hi @Chris652, welcome to our forum!
If you tap and hold on an empty area on your homescreen > tap "Settings" in the bottom right corner > look for the setting called "Enable swipe-up" and disable this function.
You should now have the icon called "Apps" visible on your homescreen again.
