Hi all,
It looks as though vTuner is now off-line again on some devices. My own STR-DN1040 Receiver remains unaffected at this time however my BDP-S7200 Blu-ray is displaying the following message:
“This service cannot be accessed at this time because the server replied with incorrect or invalid information”.
Please report any other affected devices here for simplicity of colaborating the information, kindly do not start a new thread.
Thanks in advance!

Heck, yeah, it's kinda back.. I'm in Paris, France and when checking local stations the list ends with the Letter "E" -- hope this will update soon so I can get to my favorites again (Radio FIP).
Hi all!
Back again in Italy on my CMT-G2NiP. Let's hope it lasts...
A day later here in Paris, when checking "Local Stations" the alphabetically sorted list still stops at the same spot at "Evasion 88 FM" and no, it "Cannot Play". The ONLY stations from that list that actually do work are "DJ Buzz" and "Ayp FM 99.5" ... ?! ... so yeah, it's back but not really 😞
The same here in Prague. V Tuner is working now, but just a few stations can i recive..
Same here in the UK on my STR-DN1040 Receiver and BDP-S7200 Blu-ray Player.
Service on my receiver seems to be pretty much as it was prior to this third outage with only a few stations which cannot be played.
The same cannot be said for my Blu-ray player however, none of the 'Editiors Pick' category play and I receive Error Code: 55. To cancel from seeing this message I have to press RETURN which also exits the application making it extremely frustrating if I want to try another station. Likewise a number of other stations still do not play and this service is now much worse than before as ALL High Quality Stations have been removed.
At this moment in time I'm not sure whether a celebration is in order, this service is notoriously unreliable as we all know. I won't be holding ny breath for a permanent fix that's for sure.
Seems like I spoke too soon, this has to be a record for vTuner. Service has just disappeared again for a 4th time since August!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is an OUTRAGEOUS turn of events!!!!!!!!!!!
Not only has the service gone on my Home Theater Receiver STR-DN1040 but the SEN Home Screen now displays an odd message that I haven't seen before, see below.
Strangely I could not make any selection from the above using the navigation wheel on my remote however when I pressed the OPTIONS button the above preset messages vanished! Having pressed the HOME button on my remote and navigated back to SEN a further test of the navigation wheel opened the SEN page to input my user account PIN. However this showed a Music Unlimited header but nothing functioned including commands from my remote. What the ***** is going on Sony???????
I've just checked vTuner on my Blu-ray player but it's still working on there albeit still in a vastly reduced capacity.
I wish Sony would talk....., are you punishing me personally for tweeting about this fiasco? Should I now involve my member of Parliament?
In you last statement released on the 25/11/14 you said that "We are investigating the topic and will keep you informed.". Lets get one thing clear, shall we? You have not kept us informed and have deliberatly delayed making any further statements as PROMISED. Stop hiding behind your wall of silence and tell us the results of your investigation AS PROMISED!!
For what it's worth!

Update status from the Netherlands.
On my mx700ni vTuner is still working in the reduced mode. (so, with a very small amount of stations)
Yesterday when someone over here said it was unavailable, i was listening to vtuner so probably this maybe depents of the device you have.
Anyway the things i've detected are the following:
After the service went back online (2 days ago or something) the list was reduced AGAIN and even more.
So if i chose for example a specific Genre, my country (The Netherlands) was not even listed anymore in the location submenu. Before i only had 2 stations left and before the whole issue and full functioning vTuner it were about 8 or 10 stations in the genre menu.
But it looked more to me that the limited services was still available but the vTuner list was just messed up.
I don't know that for sure anyway.
Yesterday i checked again and now it looks like i have the limited service again. 2 stations listed.
But the services was gone for almost 2 weeks again. What a mess.
In the meanwhile i've had some contact with Sony again and they forwarded my complaints to a product spacialist... Right. Just after that message it went down for 2 weeks.
Today i will give another reply.... what a total mess!
Yes it's total mess indeed!!!!
Although my AV/receiver is not technically broken I do now consider it to be so. It certainly isn't the product that I bought back in May 2014. vTuner & SEN were part of that product and as we know for some people neither of these services work any longer.
I read elsewhere on the Sony website that ALL Home Theater Receivers have access to the Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) but that statement no longer holds true.
Let down is probably an understatement. Sony promised to keep us informed about the issues with vTuner and they lied.
On my Sony CMT-G2NIP in The Netherlands it's the same: VTuner is back since a couple of days but with a very limited number of stations. I listed 20 stations as "preset" on my device when vTuner was properly working and now none of them is working, they all give the message "cannot play".
