Please can anybody tell me if there is a limited amount of Gbytes that can be played via a pen drive via USB on this system as large file sizes seem to stop playing before the end!!
Thanks
Hi there
Looking at the specifications of the DVD system, the system supports USB devices in FAT12, 16 and 32.
Assuming your using FAT32 (as its the most likely):
"The maximum possible size for a file on a FAT32 volume is 4 GiB minus 1 byte or 4,294,967,295 (232 − 1) bytes. This limit is a consequence of the file length entry in the directory table and would also affect huge FAT16 partitions with a sufficient sector size.[1] Video applications, DVD images, large databases, and some other software easily exceed this limit."
More information:

If this is not your issue, I need alot more information (ie video/audio codec used)
Cheers
Hi yes everything that you have said is true but this is the formatting of thestick in FAT32, I need to know what the home cinema system will play maximum as it seems to stop playing at anything around 1.7GB !!!
Thanks for the reply my friend but I think this is not my answer to my problem.
cheers once again.
