Sony BDP-S7200 wont play 3D

Hi

thought I would try and delve into 3d so I bought the Sony BDP-S7200, alas when I try to play 3d i get the following, I can play the 2d version so its not regional and I have the Sony 45es projector and can play 3d from virgin films so I know the projector works....just when I try and play a 3d on the blu ray it wont let me...action prohibited, any help gratefully accepted.

connected to internet and told me no updates required so it snot that.

Did you setup your BDP to inform it that it is connected to a 3D capable device? You have to insert some information about it
