Hi

Recently I get no sound from my HT-XT2 soundbase it will take up to 5mins to decide whst to do when turned on. Eventually if it fevides to send out sound it's a couple of seconds out of synch.

The remote only turns it on & off so I can't access the home screen.

Have you tried unplugging the HT XT2 for a few minutes?

Yes, attempted all the obvious solutions. Still nothing. Doesn't even go to the home screen now.

It was great when it worked. Expected it to last a lot longer for what I paid for it.

If you can't update or reset it (Manual page 55), you might want to get it looked at by Sony engineers at this point.
