Sounds bizarre I know, Had the SONY XDR-DS12iP for Christmas and seen as I live in my office I have set it up in there, however since I plugged it in and got it going my Internet kept randomly dropping its connection and would randomly restart (very annoying)
I ripped the house apart trying to get to the bottom of it, ordered a new router and eventually decided to try unplugging the SONY XDR-DS12iP as it was the only thing differnt / changed in my office that could be causing the problem.
Lo and behold as soon as i unplugged the SONY XDR-DS12iP my internet cam back to life and it hasnt dropped out since...
The wife says I should put the SONY XDR-DS12iP in the bedroom, but I only really wanted it to listen to the DAB whilst working on computer...
I have not tried moving it to other end of office yet but I thought some one might be able to advice me on why and how to maybe overcome the issue.
