I’m trying to connect my SONY BRAVIA 49XE8005 through a BT powerline miniconnector to a BT SmartHub. Initially it worked fine, then just stopped.
WIFI works well, but we have lots of devices in the house and LAN seemed a better option for the TV.
When I check the network status the wired LAN says ‘checking’ and provides a valid IP address. My router can see the Android TV - but no internet content.
I have reset the TV and the router, reset and changed the power line adapters. Nothing works.

I’m having the same problem with the wired LAN continuously checking and not accessing the Internet !
wifi similar problem where it’s connected but not accessing the internet!
the internet is working fine as is the WiFi but the TV is not recognising internet ?????
your hotlink doesn’t work......can anyone else help Pleeeeeeease !
Hi I have the same problem did you get an answer to this question. I cannot look at the answer as it tells me this answer does not exist. I also think my VPN affects this connection, when I turn off my VPN the checking does not appear.

Could you share the model of your TV with us and make sure that the Date & Time settings are correct as well as being set to "Use Network Time"?
This has been shared on the forums a lot lately as a solution for similar network mishaps.
