Which Sony TVs are based on MediaTek MT9686?
Hello people,
After Sony kinda stopped offering support for my XG90 in the launch year, I'm looking to replace it at some point with one that will be supported for some years to come. Do you have any clue which current XH Sony TVs are based on MediaTek MT9686 (Cortex A73)?
Best regards,
Lucian

Thanks for the reply. Yes, usually that's where I look for info. And I bought my XG90 based on what it said there, but they weren't right. For the XH95 series they don't have any clear info. Now I prefer to ask people which already own a TV set for more accurate info

I tried to ask Sony themselves and they say they can't disclose this information.
It would super helpful for everyone if someone could run CPU-Z or other information tool on their TV so we can see what chipsets are inside the XH series.

Yes, that table doesn't look very conclusive to me. There's no Cortex A65, it's just A55. And why would you add 4GB RAM on that vs the XH95 series which you get with 3GB RAM and A73. I'll just wait, maybe someone will post some accurate info at some point, since Sony isn't willing to do so.

I didn't know about it. Probably that's because I couldn't find any implementations of it yet. It might be that MT5598 is ARM Cortex A73 @ 1.5GHz: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=335185
