I have recently bought a Sony AG8 OLED tv, I have noticed the last few movies I have watched in Netflix for sure, even last night watching "The Old Guard" the letterbox was flickering from black to light grey and back again,
any ideas or advise on this please?

So that's coming up as 15.25mbps.
Just onto Netflix there and they advised it is a know issue and that I will need to get an update from Sony.
Apparently they are sending me instructions and info.. Will updatd when I receive it
An update on what? If it is the Netflix app, "they" should release it on the google store, check if anything new is there if you do not set to autoinstall updates. Regarding possible fw issues related to Netflix HDR I'm not aware of anything
So this is what I have received.
I have checked the netflix app and its up to date.
TV software also up to date.
Must give sony a call to see if they can assist.

BTW I try to remain objective, but if it is a content related problem (you have the same problem with any video?) how can it be the tv? and btw for this specific problem an OLED tv?
Have logged a call and will monitor watching from various sources to see if just netflix or all services. Not sure if panel or content issue.
Tried same movie on a Sony LED TV and the issue wS not there.
Which Sony led TV model? Lat us see a sample video when you can
