Hello there,
2 weeks ago, I bought this Sony 55XG8505 model tv, everything via Internet works except Terrestrial digital (Free to Air channel) can not able to get them working, All it scans only lock channels. I have noticed that the antenna signal is also weak it's between 10 to 54%.
I have already updated its software. Is there anything so I could do to make it work?
I don’t understand “All it scans only lock channels”
I imagine it’s a typo, but I can’t figure out what for.
Did you have a previous TV that worked OK on your existing aerial setup?
What is your aerial setup? Have you replaced any part of it for this new TV?
That is a very weak signal you have; you may need a better aerial, or at the very least to go over the wiring for the existing one, looking for shorts, breaks, and corroded connections.

I meant Scrambled channel, I did a bit of search.
This model supports only DVB-T2 (H.264) and my DVB S2/T2 receiver supports H.265 and still works fine.

With aerial setup yeah worked fine. I had an old tv (32 inches) and a dish receiver (pretty new).

I have this Konig Indoor DVB-T/T2 - DAB+ Antenna (15 dB VHF / UHF) which works fine with my old receiver.

No
All wanted to get everything connected in one set, that's why I bought this TV.
Indoor aerials fit where they touch 😢
I suspect the Sony has a less sensitive tuner than your old set; if you can look up the specs for this TV, and whatever the old one was, you can maybe check this.
I don’t understand the reference to dish though; that’s satellite, and I thought we were talking terrestrial here?

not sure that this is true
Be certain that it isn’t...
Yes (Up to 3840x2160/60p 10bit)
Possibly @vhtne2 is not aware that H.265 and HEVC are the same thing,
H.264 or H.265 though, neither is going to do well over a €10 indoor aerial.

This is probably true, I couldn't get the signal to max level until I bought an adapter/booster and after multiple scanning, it did work. 😎

I am sorry for the confusion, I referred it to my Satellite (DVB S/S2) receiver which I can able to watch tv (DVB T/T2) as well.
Yes (Up to 3840x2160/60p 10bit)
I didn't know that, but from the shop (Mediamarkt) I bought my tv they still advertise, you can see it here (screenshot in Dutch). I am not much familiar with it.

Indeed.

actually I paid €25. 😀
The above shows the benefits of getting your information from Sony, rather than from retailers
And I got the aerial price from here.....

Maybe yours works better though, for the more money 😀
