Screen saver

I have a kd-49xg9005 television. It is connected to a str-dh790 amplifier. Under some circumstances I want the screen saver to be activated. I have set a 5 minute time and ‘sleep’ as the saver. However, with no input or paused input the screen saver does not activate. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @iany1954 

It may quicker to simply turn off the picture when you want a blank screen. On your remote press [ACTION MENU] then select Picture off.
