Hello @rover757,
I can't quite imagine which type of sound you mean - can you record your TV with a camera when above described behavior is present and upload it to YouTube (as a "not listed" video) so me and others can have a listen?

The TV doesn't completely "shutdown" when you turn it off, it goes into "standby" so as to make it easier to turn on again, keep it updated, etc.
Seems like it's not going into standby properly, so maybe let the TV actually turn off by taking it off the power mains, or update the software (if it's out of date).
Hope this helps!

Hi
The TV is set up to allow automatic updates however, should I manually search for updates? Or are you able to provide me with the reference number for this update?
Thank you for your earlier response.

Hi
Have tried your suggestion however, I am still having the same problem (distorted sound sound when tv is turned off) Note, I have a BOSE SoundBar connected, do you think this maybe causing the problem?

The model number of your TV seems to be incomplete since I can't find any mention of it on the support pages.
But, it's probably worth trying to disconnect the soundbar and see if that solves it as well.

Hello @rover757,
because you are logged into the European community - you probably need to use the Asia Pacific one.
