I have this strange problem. When the TV is off (standby) and i listen to Music from my media player (Mede8er) via my Marantz AV receiver, i get audio drop off every 10 or 15 minutes.
My connection is HDMI. IF i remove the HDMI out cable TO the TV, the problem is solved.
I have tried everything i could, disabling HDMI control, changing cables, no luck.
So 1000% it is the Sony TV playing games for some reason.
Any ideas how to solve this MAJOR problem ? Since i can't listen to music any more.
Thanks
Hi there
Unfortunately this is still an unresolved issue. See:

In particular, this post (by Beefgrits):

Please let me know if the work-around posted by Beefgrits works for you?
Cheers
@Anonymous
i don't find any settings like the one Beefgrits says. Maybe my model doesn't have that ....
try Network>network settings>home network setup>IP control> and put simple IP control to ON
Thanks guys, i found it !
So far it seems to work, i listened one hour yesterday without any problem.
After upgrading to Android 6.0.1 and after a factory reset (just for my own peace of mind), i'm sorry to say that the HDMI problem is NOT SOLVED.
It doesn't happen every 5-6 minutes but happened after 20+ minutes and then randomly.
Pitty since the update was really good in other areas. So i'm back to the "workaround" solution.
