A77 and wireless flash

Hi all,

Wondering if anybody can help please?

I'm due to upgrade to A77 shortly and need to use wireless flash but not with the on-camera flash as the trigger.

Currently own a F42AM and know this won't work as a wireless on camera controller. However, if i bought a F58AM, will this work as an on camera flash and controller with my F42AM as a wireless? Also, if i bought another F42AM could i use F58AM on camera and 2x F42AM off camera wirelessly?

Hi,

yes this will work as you plan to; you can control the HVL-F42 with the F58 flash: You can also use the ratio flash function when using multiple HVL-F42 units as remote flashes.
