Wifi Calling on Xperia 1

After a few months of dealing with crapy cellular connectivity and performance I decided to call TMobile to see what is going on.  Turns out that his phone although it does work on TMos network, it is best suited only for their 3g band of 1900MHz.    Ok so that solves the issue with this phone about everywhere I go and especially indoors.     That is why we have WiFi calling right?    Well even on Wifi calling I am not able to hold a decent conversation becuase of dropouts that happen 1 foot away from the router, or 15'

Is anybody else experiencing drop outs while on Wifi?      I have spoken to my internet provider and verified that all is well in that department. I have spoken to TMobile who suggest that I use WiFi until I get a newer phone to replace with worthless one that isn't capable of utlizing TMobiles main frequencies.     I have had issues using it over Wifi since the day I purchased it in July and it happens no matter which wifi I am using, still spotty.

I have been using WiFi calling on VZW network and have had no issues. Multiple WiFi networks also.

My understanding of how WiFi calling works is up to the mobile carrier and the settings they apply.

I know with the Oneplus T-Mobile has vs the one you can buy from Oneplus, only the Tmobile branded one works with their WiFi calling.

This is from tmoble's site and they also say they cannot guarantee it to work on anything but what they sell:

And I thought this phone was very well covered for TMobile only missing HSPA+ and B71.

It's the same with O2. You have to buy the phone branded with O2 software for you to get voLTE.

The stock one from the likes of carpbone warehouse you can't.
