As this is a global support forum and since service routines, warranty and consumer laws may vary depending on which market/region you are located in, I believe that this question is best answered by your local support team. They should also be able to assist you in getting your phone sent to an authorized service center if needed.

Thanks for the reply Martin, but since am in India and because Sony India says the model is not launched here they are not able to repair it . (Had bought it from US on my recent trip)
