Issue with gesture navigation and Netflix Xperia 1 ii

Hello

There is a significant bug when it comes to using gesture navigations and Netflix.

First off, you cannot go completely fullscreen or get 4K resolution - that is because when using the gesture navigation, there are still black bars on the bottom and left of the screen (that is, in full screen, landscape mode, the image does not fully extend to the edges of the screen). This also prevents the image to switch to 4K - it's only at FULL HD.

Furthermore, when switching out of Netflix when watching a movie, there is a big error where the picture-in-picture is very bugged - there is a piece of the video playing on the top of the screen, and the controls are on the bottom, and unresponsive.

The issue does not happen when using 3 button navigation option - and also does not happen when using gesture navigation in Youtube (youtube works perfectly fine with gesture navigation - full screen is really full screen, 4K is available, picture-in-picture works as intended).

I saw many other people and reviewers on youtube complaining on the same issue - the same issue also existed on the Xperia 1 (mark 1).

Please address this as it's quite an embarassing bug and prevents the full experience when using gesture navigation.

I have images I can share with the engineers.

Netflix doesn't stream in 4K, at least not yet, it's 1080p max.

Correct, NO DEVICE streams Netflix in 4k, because their mobile API maxes at 1080p HDR.

Only android tv APKs output 4k.

Cause not all games and apps support it.

But Netflix is pre-installed app when you purchase the phone. It's such weird
