You can play a bit with Prevent accidental operations with screen off and with Touch and hold delay to set it more to your liking.

Hi @cahookie, let me see if I can help out here! 

As @Strampke mentioned, the glove mode does not exist in Xperia 1, nor any other models released during 2019. But you can however alter the touch and hold delay. This is done in Settings > Accessibility > Touch & hold delay.
