Does the launcher not support changing icons?

Why did the previous models support changing icons, and the latest xperia 1 does not support changing icons?
why?

It does... On the home screen long press empty field and select "Page settings...". 

There you will see option to change icons.

No, what I am talking about is not changing the shape of the icon, but the appearance of the icon. I want to use a third-party icon pack to beautify my desktop.

Hi @q310550690, sorry for the late reply, I had to request some information about this.

The Xperia 1, Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus, released in 2019, feature a new Xperia Home launcher. "Icon appearance" is not available in the Home settings on these devices, which means that third-party icon packs cannot be applied.

If you want to use a different icon pack, you will need to install a different launcher from the Google Play store.

Yes it does exist the option to change the icon shape is available after the new update to v10, be sure to turn phone off completely, power down rather than a  restart.

Once your phone is back on head towards

Developer Options

Scroll all the way down to the bottom and the setting for icon change is Thier.

The original poster meant that he or she wanted to use a custom icon pack and not just change the shape of the icons.

To be able to use a third party icon pack, you will need to use a different launcher.
