Hi @Alieninfiltration,

Just as @RuneJ mentioned there is a dark mode in the Xperia 1, but it is only available after updating to Android 10, so if you are still on Android 9.0, you will have to wait a bit longer for the update to be available and after that you can enjoy the dark mode!

edit: In Android 9.0 you have something called dark theme, but this does not turn everything dark (settings menu and so forth) like it does in Android 10.

In Android 9 or even 8 (or maybe less) :

There are some apps supported dark mode

- Some of Sony.....apps like ( Music / Album / Support )

- Many of Google apps like ( Messages / Calender / Clock / calculator / Keep Notes...etc )

- 3rd apps same things like ( Twitter / Instagram / Telegram / Samsung Internet / XDA app / Outlook / ....Etc. )

WhatsApp currently under development

In the setting of app/apps you will find an option.

This is excellent apps to enable the dark mode for some apps like ( Google Play Store / Instagram...etc.)

It's working fine with my Z2 and Z2 Tablet with Android 6.0.1

@alaa_buhussaien, that is very true!

Almost half the application that I use only a delay basis only have a dark mode option now, even on earlier Android versions than 10.

Feels a bit strange that there is no option to turn it off though in most applications in case you don't like it, but most people seem to prefer a dark mode.
