Recently I've been unable to display home, information, or options functions on my panasonic tv. Tried all the workarounds I could think of, check hdmi settings on tv, check settings on receiver etc, but nothing worked. Checked batteries, but there fine. All other button functions work, so I'm stumped as to what cause may be.

The menu only shows up when connected via HDMI. Have you switched the connection method?

If it's still connected via HDMI, you should probably try another cable as it might have become damaged internally in some way.

You can also try disconnecting everything from the amp and unplug it from the mains to let it depower and rest for 3 minutes or so, then try that again.

Hi John.

Thanks for responding to my question. I've tried different hdmi cables. I'll try disconnecting all connections and remove mains plug to power it down and leave for a few minutes and see if that sorts it. If not I'll try a total reset to default state and see if that does the trick, although a pain as you have to set receiver up again, but a small price to pay if it fixes issue.
