I purchased the memory from Crucial and it is the correct type for my notebook. Unfortunately my computer would not boot after installing the memory and I had just a competely black screen. Second time I tried it I did manage to load windows and use the computer for a few minutes before it crashed. Third time had black screen again. All is ok with just one of the 1gb modules installed. Crucial say I need to update the bios and need to download this from sony website but I am unable to find this.
