Have lost intervideo DVD

I have managed to lose Intervideo DVD that came preinstalled with my AR31S, tried using recovery tool but it isn't listed as one of the porgrams i can reinstall. checking on ar31s support page there are dowloads referring to intervideo but all of them fail to install as they state i need the previous version, any idead how i can get intervideo dvd blueray player again?

Hi bps1,

The full version of Win DVD is not available to download, only updates can be found on the Sony Vaio-Link site..

Unfortunately most but not all of the pre-installed applications can be re-installed using the Vaio recovery utility and Win DVD is one of those exceptions, the only way to re-install win DVD BD is to run the Vaio recovery utility and restore your Vaio back to factory settings..

Make sure you back up important data first..

You may be able to recover Win DVD by doing a system restore to the point before you lose win DVD.

HERE is a guide should you need it, is for XP but the process is similar..
