Got myself a spanish sim, put it in my Vaio TT and it worked like a charm.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am a long-time Vaio user and am considering getting a Vaio Z series laptop.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would use it a lot abroad (especially India and China). Will it be possible to use a local SIM for the Everywair WWAN connection, or will I have to use the SIM provided by Sony and pay high roaming charges?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Another question. Could I, if I chose, use the computer with a normal dongle?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would appreciate advice.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
