I want a digital version of Vikram Seth's "A Suitable Boy" for my Sony PRS350.

I've looked on Smiths, Waterstones and Amazon (just to see if they had one) and they all report that they do not have a digital edition.

I then did a Google search and got lots of hits from sites saying that they have EPUB versions of the book.

Are these 'pirate' versions? Are they safe? How can I tell? I don't want a 'hooky' version - I'm quite happy to pay if I can find one.

Help, please.

Thanks

PuppyDog

If they're free, they are almost certainly pirate.

Have you tried Inkmesh ? It's a book search engine, specify ebook, and it will show a number of places to get it - if it's buyable in ebook that is.

Some will be US, but I've bought from some of the stores OK, but it will show sterling if it's out there.

I expect there are similar engines, but Inkmesh is neat.
