My e reader froze whilst charging wont turn on or off just shows a circle with 2 arrows any has anyone any ideas

The only thing I can think of is the reset.

It is only tiny and you need something quite hard to push it but my book froze on a page and wouldn't do anything and this fixed it.

Sounds like reset time - it is in manual, so have a peep - a paperclip does the job fine.

Have the same problem occasionally with my TomTom, same procedure really.

Good Morning and apologies for late reply, was away for a while. I have a PRS600 now, (previously 505), and had the same problem with both. Reset would not remedy the problem, but my local SONY centre in Wexford (ROI) discovered that by charging the reader with a MAINS charger the problem was solved. To this end they agreed to sell me a Mains charger at a discounted price (excellent PR ). My current PRS 600 Still freezes occasionally and this remedy works. I normally charge the unit by USB.
