You haven't explained what the difficulties are, which makes replying a little difficult . . . Also, I have a PRS350 which doesn't have a music capability! But anyway . . .

Assumptions : You have ReaderLibrary on your PC and you have music files (somewhere on the PC) in a format supported by the Reader.

Open ReaderLibrary. Goto File | Import Files. Navigate to the folder holding your music files, select the ones you want and click Open on the Import Files dialogue box.

This should put the files into the Audio folder of Reader Library. (Click little triangle at the left hand side of Library to show the folders within Reader Library).
Then click on the Audio folder to display its contents.

Now select audio files and drag and drop on to Reader. The software will sort out which folder on the Reader the files go into.

Hope this helps (and is correct!)

PuppyDog

Hi,

as Puppydog has already stated you need to import the audio files (MP3, AAC) stored on your PC in to your Reader Library.

Then connect your Reader to your PC and then drag & drop the audio files from the Reader Library to your Reader.

Alternatively you can load audio files onto a memory card, without the need to go through the Reader Library, and insert that into the reader..:smileywink:

Hi All,

Just to add to the other contributors - the two solutions proposed (via Reader Library or using a memory card) I completely agree with. Where there are no memory card slots on the Reader, which I think is the case on the PRS350 that PuppyDog owns then of course the Reader Library method would be the way to go (although as PuppyDog says the 350 doesn't have a music facility anyway!). However I must say I like the memory card option (when it's available) that Thalamus proposes because on average the size of music files tend to be larger than a lot of eBook files .... if you started to store a lot of music then it is possible to eat in to the Reader's internal memory a bit. Memory cards offer a neat way round this I think and keeps everything nice and tidy!:smileycool:

Hi carpetmojo,

It's not possible to use a USB stick, but the memory card route is still an option for you; it's just that you have to use either of the memory card types that are compatible with your PRS-650 (so either Memory Stick Duo or SD Card).

I guess you have a couple of options. You could buy an additional compatible memory card as above and copy your music files from your computer on to it (as Thalamus was saying). I suppose that way at least you can use both your Reader and your other MP3 device (that takes the micro card) simultaneously for music without worrying which device you left the memory card in.:smileywink:

However, just an additional thought: you don't say which type of micro card you have, but to take the example of micro SD cards, I believe you can buy adapters that you put the micro SD card into, that makes it normal SD card sized. I've not used one of these myself, but in theory I don't see why this wouldn't work - so if you really wanted to use the micro card you have with your music already stored on it, there may be a solution!

Hope that helps.:smileyhappy:
