Reader Library software not showing books

Hello,

I purchased a PRS-350 last week and setup all the software and all was working great, however today when I opened the library it will not show any books or the far right options ( IE computer, reader, books ect)

See the screenshot below.

The reader sounds like it has connected to my laptop correctly as I get a noise when plugged in.

Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem - except I have had my reader for 18 months with no problems before.I thought I would be clever and uninstall and reinstall Reader Library and it won't even install now so I have nothing.

That all looks very strange - don't recognise that at all !

Have yiou done a soft re-set ? It often performs miracles....

But, in case it don't....

I suggest - providing you just want to get going again, and give up, for now, on the books you have - install Calibre and use that .

You won't need reader, and is the bee's knees. A great - in fact the best - ebook management system.

Just buy/download books, but when the option comes to "open using reader", select other button, "save to file".

Then it will d/load and show on your Downloads panel, and you just rt click ,"Open containing folder", click, and Drag 'n drop high-lighted file into the Calibre library area. Done.

You can re-address the Reader prob's later, but at least you can use the reader .
