I am in my 3^rd SONY reader. The previous 2 readers suffered damages in the touch screen for stupid and apparently harmless accidents.

I just got a T1 and, apart from the unexpected crashing/freezing problem, I am disappointed with the cover for that model. The back is very well protected, but the front, with the vulnerable touch screen, is very soft. Should not be this front part of the cover more rigid and resilient? Is any solution for it?

Hi,

Sony have released 2 very good covers for the PRS-T1. Like you I am on my 3rd Sony reader, dropped the first one and sold my second one to buy the T1. I splahed out and bought both of the covers, one is slim and fits nicely in my pocket while the other, slightly bulkier, has a built in light perfect for reading in bed. They are quite expensive but do a good job protecting the reader screen.
