Reset Reader

I have been given a PRS600 reader from a friend all her books are on there & i need to download mine but cant i have tried to reset it by pressing the reset button but nothing changes can anyone help please

Hi Sally,

A hard reset should clear all books, etc that have been transferred to your Reader..

Gently press the Reset button (1) with a small pin or clip.

Slide the Power switch to on to restart the Reader.

When the screen displays Opening book

Press and hold both the Back < (2) key and & Volume + (2) key simultaneously until the Reset all screen appears.

Once the Reset All screen appears press Yes to continue.

Hi, I have already tried resetting the reader like that & it doesnt work i do everything in order & still it doesnt happen any other ideas please

Sally - I presume the reader must be still authorised to previous owner.

You will need to de-authorise it, then authorise to you, with your own Adobe ID etc...

There are quite a few helpful posts about doing this - beyond my ability to describe this, I'm afraid .

Do a search, or pop a PM to StartTheCar , who will probably be able to run through it for you.
