How to check for EU Volume Limiter problem?

is there a way of checking if the Walkman I have bought has the Built in EU Volume Limit of 85db brought in in 2013?

it was posted from Russia, but I am not sure where it was sourced from?

Hi bigben,

I see nobody-in-particular has already assisted you in your other thread.. If the packaging for your NW-WS410 has a CE marking on the packaging or enclosed paperwork then this denotes that they are a European model..
