NWZ-A17 Bluetooth

HI. I have just purchased an NWZ-A17 Walkman. I am trying to connect it to my bluetooth headphones. The walkman detects the phones but times out when "Processing the connection". I have used the phones with other bluetooth, and the walkman pairs with my Amazon bluetooth speaker. Any ideas? I bought the walkman specifically to use with the headphones.

Hi. Yes I can connect my Nakimichi bluetooth headphones successfully to the Samsung tablet I am typing this on, as well as my Samsung mobile phone. It is only my Walkman that seems not to want to connect. The Walkman detects my headphones but times out when it is "Processing the Connection."

Hi,

So you can get as far as selecting you Bluetooth device..:smileyconfused:

Have you installed the latest firmware??

Press and hold the BACK/HOME button until the Home menu appears
Select [Settings], [Common Settings], and [Unit Information].
Displays the Model number and firmware version

Hi. I have checked and I seem tto have firmware 1.2 according to the little window. I tried downloading 1.21 several times but got a fault banner when I tried to install it. Thanks for the quick reply.

Hi. I hope thqat this is of some use in sorting out my problem. I didn't want to buy an Apple, but I am beginning to regret buying the Sony.
