topic wf-1000xm4 case problem in Portable Audio

Hi people,

Recently my lovely wife decided to wash my clothes without checking the pockets and managed to wash my wf-1000xm4 case and head phones. I was quite upset.
Somehow it seems that the headphones themselves are undamaged but the case has lost most of its functionality related to power. When it is plugged in I can open it and my headphones will connect to my phone no problem. However if I unplug the case and try the usual process nothing happens. My best guess is that the cases battery is completely destroyed, or something shorted out to protect everything else.

What would you fine people recommend? Buying a new case from somewhere here in Sweden?

Or should I try and actually replace the battery in the case?

Thanks for any info!

Hey there,

I would say try to reset and initialize as a try. But if it didn't work, you can send it for repair and no need to buy a new one I guess. But you will need to contact your local support for the repair info though.

Hope it gets sorted soon.
