How to disable/enable microphone noise suppression?

I don't see any option to turn on/off microphone noise suppression under settings -> call on my Z3+ (E6553) . But I have this option on my Xperia ZL (also running 5.0.2). Is this a bug? Can we get this back on the next firmware, Please ?

It should be the 14th option, under Additional settings and above Equalizer

Mine doesn't have it That's exactly where I see that on my ZL. My Z3+ is running 28.0.A.7.24 (E6553 using in the US, came from Hong Kong :D). I guess it's a bug then?

I remember in the past other devices didn't have all the options available,it was different and related to carrier or market.

Hi Guys, after couple fw updates, this feature is still missing on my Z3+. Does anyone have this? If so, what's region associated with your firmware? Thanks a lot.

I dont have this option, even I used to have it on the Z3 Dual but not on Z3+ Dual.

Very(!) disappointed.

Have a faulty one of the microphones - ok, but until some two updates ago I could switch off noise cancelling and the phone worked no problem. And mic replacement costs more than the device is worth.

Now, after only a software(!) update, the phone is now useless. Now what?, should I throw away the phone and buy a new one (of course Sony no more!) just because of a software update?! If nothing else, what about ecology?!

There are numerous requests for this option on the internet for months.. 2 years old phone and no more updates - shameful.

I have a Sony Experia and after a software update I am encountering the same problem with my microphone, where the other person cannot hear me. After reading all the suggestions on this chat site i have tried all of them and no joy: 1. change settings noise reduction, 2. force stop and disable smart connect, and the rest that i have found on this site and nothing works, the only option is using earphones which is working....HELP!!!! I AM NOW FRUSTRATED.

I'm having the same problem. On the previous update I returned to factory settings and the microphone worked fine . However, it's happening again. I went back to factory reset and I I can only use my phone on loud speaker. What's going on Sony? Im starting to lose faith in your products!
