Howsit can anyone tell me why my z3 compact keeps switching off on its own which I have to power back up again myou phone is 5 months old, has this happened to anyone else as well.

Do you have a "nano sim card" or did you cut/trimmed a regular SIM card?

Discussion Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines

This could be related to a SIM card, SD card or even a third party app, the best thing to start with is to remove the SIM card first, if the issue continues remove the SD card, if still the issue continues, then it is likely related to some third party software.

Try going through the process of elimination and let us know how you get on.

this is right reply but u also need to do two thing for hundred percent solution of this problem because i also face this problem then first i factory reset becz without factory reset phone off automatically may be within 5 or 10 min and for software repair phone off by itself create a error and then attach phone to computer for repair software with sony pc companian and now my problem solved hundred percent.... i try it practically

Even I am facing the same issue..!!!

I even tried factory reset but the problem is not getting resloved.

Sony experties could you please suggest for solution for this

I have the same issue, but i can't even recognize the mobile at the pc because it keeps turning on and off, but doest inicialize the android, it turns off with 2 or 3 seconds, while the screen is showing Sony logo.

Anyone, @Sony?
