I have a Sony Xperia z3 and when I go on facebook and watch any kind of video from different people or website my phone freezes then restarts rhe phone please help anyone

Try Clearing the Facebook app data.

How to clear data on apps.
From your Home screen

1. Tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > Apps.
3. Swipe to the All tab.
4. Find and tap on the Facebook app.
5. Tap Force stop > Clear data.
6. Restart the phone

I tried that and it's still doing it i don't see why it only happens when on facebook though

Did you try Unistalling Facebook app, restarting your phone, then installing it again? You can do this from Setting -> Apps -> Facebook -> Uninstall

That mean that there's an app that is creating this problem, an app not included with the phone but an app that you downloaded at some point

Not immediately, you need to delete the apps one by one and check. If it no longer occurs after deleting a certain app, than that was the app creating the problem.

I'm having the same issue.

After updating the sony video app to version 9.1.A.0.8, when watching a video on facebook my Sony Z3 Compact Locks/Freezes/Crashes/Stops and I have to hold the power button and the up volumne together to force it to shutdown.

Using Facebook version 32.0.0.23.15 and Android Lollipop 5.0.2

I've thried re-installing both apps, clearning data/cache/force stop on both nothing. I am running the free AGV Antivirus that came with the phone, not changed any of its settings.

ANY HELP?

OR IF YOU ARE EXPERIANCING THE SAME, PLEASE LOG IT SO SONY WILL FIX IT

Mother what I had to do was delete the Facebook app then go on Google log in Facebook and save that on my homescreen as a shortcut I cant use the Facebook app anymore since updating and now I can watch videos without it crashing that's the only way I could get it to work

Same issues for me. It crashes a lot with Facebook. But also on chrome or checking sms.

Ive disabled the avg av that some others suggested but that wasn't it. Have also deleted Facebook app but prob still happens. Mine all started after sonys last update.

I'd suggest that you do a PC Companion phone repair, this will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory.

Open PC companion -> Support zone -> Phone/tablet software update -> Repair my phone/tablet (blue link style). Follow the steps given, do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.
