Z2 unable to detect SD card after Android software update

I have seen similar topics in here mentioning a bug in Android Lollipop but I haven't come across a solution yet.

I have tried removing and remounting SD card, both while phone is on and off. I have tried to boot the SD card through storage settings, notering works.

SD card is not damaged and works fine in my spare Xperia Acro S.

Any ideas anyone?

Repair the phone with Sony PC Companion

Before you repair the phone with Sony PC Companion, reboot on safe mode, and check if the SD card works

Just tested in safe mode, no difference.

But as I mentioned the SD card works in my "old" phone.

A valid question... And yes, apparantly they do. Briefly tested two different SD cards and they both worked fine!?

Somewhat baffled and unsatisfied with this finding but at least there's a quick fix to my problem. :smileysmileythumbsup:
