Hello!

Im having trouble connecting my xperia to my pioneer deh-4400BT car stereo.

the pioneer shows up in the list of units on my phone, when i press it to connect with it, i get a nessage telling me to varify that a six digit code shows up in the display on my player. Up until this point its just like it was with my iphone who worked smoothly with the same player.

The problem is that the digits dont show up, and my two options are now either to connect or cancel, so i try to connect, my player says "full pair", and then it goes away. And my phone tells me its unable to connect.

is it something i can do here? Or do i have to get a new phone?

Does the phone show up in the Pioneer's BT connection menu? Maybe you can connect using the Pioneer's menu rather than the phones.

Seems like Pioneer have released two apps on Google Play, not sure if they are required but might be worth a shot.

Hi,

The Pioneeer apps are not required for BT connexion.

And I have an Xperia Z and cannot connect it to my Pioneer car stereo (AVH-2400BT) too.

My previous phone (a samsung Galaxy Note) succeeded to connect to the Pioneer without any problem.

I hope the new update version (Android 4.2.2) will correct this problem or I will change my phone.

I have a problem with the BT car with firmware .244

what happens is that now, the phone pairs with the radio but do not make me download the phonebook or call log, tested it on my work car (with renault radio source) and my car radio pioneer DEH p80 Prs, but the strange thing is that my wife's car have a radio alpine, and that downloads the list and call log.

is there any way to solve this?

Hi, I just puchased a Pioneer MVH-X360BT and discovered that audio streaming was not working properly with my Xperia Z running Android 4.3.

When i stream music the sound is stopping for half a second almost every 2 minutes.

When I used my wife smartphone, it works perfectly.

Do you know any Bluetooth patch i could apply ?

Is it possible to downgrade from Android 4.3 to Android 4.2.2 ? (this is the supported release from Pioneer )

Any iformation is welcome, thanks !

I'va got exactly the same problem with my Xperia Z1 and Pioneer MVH-X360BT :

Well I still have the problem. Sony support said that this bug got fixed in new firmware based on android 4.4
This firmware is not available in my country. So i picked it from swiss site and got my Z upgrade.
NO BETTER ! ISSUE IS STILL THE SAME !

Just to make sure pioneer is not playing with me, i will try to find the old 4.2.3 firmware to see if it makes any difference.
Pioner says they do support that firmware.

This may take a while as i am a little busy, anyway I'll keep you posted

I have the same issue with the same Pioneer device and a Z3
I used crappy LG phones with that car stereo without any problem. I never expected that a good phone as the Z3 would have had such an annoying problem

Ok, I upgraded to 5.0 but there is the problem with my Z1. I changed to my old SP with 4.3 and it has this problem too.

When I listen to music with my Xperia z3v through my Pioneer DEH X6600BS it cuts out for about a half of a second every 3 to 4 minutes. Sounds like a common problem. Looking for a fix...

Same problem with my Xperia T and Xperia Z3 with pioneer deh-x9600bt

This is a common problem with Sony phones and Pioneer stereos.

Samsung, LG, Apple, All ok without audio break issues.

I got the pioneer double din and I had to look on old phones what had been used and delete them before I could put mine on
Me and wife got the xperia z1 and they take a while if one of us has been using it,
Hope this helps
See if there is a reset on pioneer and try again

Hi, don't know if anyone can help but here goes, I connect perfect in one truck to the onboard bluetooth then. An identical truck that I used to connect to now says connection failed and my phone says bluetooth unable to share, anybody know how to make it start sharing again, I prefer connecting to the radio as it is all operates from the steering wheel also play my music through it aswell, don't really want to get rid of Xperia Z , been a good phone, nothing else wrong except for this.
