Camera photos problem // screen rotate

ok, so, when im taking a photo with both front and back cameras, after the photo is taken and i view it, its always the wrong way around.

like, if i take a selfie, or a photo with camera held vertical, the saved photo is always horizontal.

how cant find anywhere in settings to change this. I love the stock camera with my z3c but because of this ive stopped using it, i know use camera360, and when i take photos with this, there is no problem at all, its just with the stock camera.

anyone know how to fix this, because id like to continue using the stock camera, if not ill be very disappointed and will continue using camera360.

my 2nd problem is, the screen does'nt auto rotate, even though i have it set to auto rotate, and smart rotate on in settings.

would love if someone could help me fix these 2 problems, i absolutely love the z3c but these 2 problems are extremely disappointing.

Settings > apps > all > camera > clear data > restart your phone > check again

Also settings > display > screen rotation > smart rotation > off > restart your phone and check again.

tried both your answers, the camera is still the same, same with rotation

After trying my suggestions, restart the phone and take new pictures, take one on landscape and another on portrait mode, see if you experience the same issue with the NEW pictures.

BTW do you have a protective case, perhaps a magnetic case?

i did try take a picture after using your suggestions

i take a pic with camera vertical, and it saves the pic horizontally

and visa versa i take a pic horizontally and it saves vertically

and yes, i have one of those like book/wallet type case, with the magnetic thing to hold the cover closed

i even removed the case and followed yours steps, restarted and tried again, and its exactly the same

You should be able to see it, repair the phone its the same as re-installing the current update.

ok, i did the repair with PCC

and still the same stupid problem its really annoying

ill go back to using camera360 app, and ill stop recommending this phone to any friends

Hi I know that this was a while ago but how did you fix the turning photo problem
