separate notification volume control

Hi All

Am i right in thinking that there is no way to adjust the notification volume separately on the phone?:smileyconfused:

On my old Atrix you could do this so that the main ring volume could be loud but email/text notification volume could be quieter.

Unfortunately this is not possible. There are three volume controls on the Xperia Z:

Music, video, games & other media
Ringtones & notifications
Alarms

If you really want your notifications to be quieter than your ringtones, you'll have to process the notification audio files with an audio editor on your computer to lower the volume, then copy them (back) to your phone.

Thanks Nick.

Editing the ringtones is too much hassle, so i'll have to leave it as it is.

Alternatively you can customize your notifications to silent (under the tone picking screen, I can't say for sure the path, my device is currently being usurped by my little niece, playing cut the rope. She said if I take it away from her, she'll cut me).

Or even, try an app for that. I can't any recommend in particular, but there's an app for everything nowadays.

I can not believe. Sony Z3 has not a separate notifications volume. It is not useful :(( lf l know this before absolutely did not buy it. This is very unique feature is not it??? I miss my ex Samsung....
