Z3 keeps restarting and battery life does not go well

Hi,

My Z3 keeps restarting lately and battery life goes from 40 to 1 %. It used to work very well but lately doesn't last long. Sometimes it restarts during the call. I bought the phone in UK and currently I'm living in Portugal..anything I can do?

Hi @FC2, sorry to hear about your phone.

Are you able to power on the phone after it has shut down or do you need to charge it before you are able to do so?

I would recommend that you start with recalibrating the battery in your phone. To do that, let the phone run out of battery and open up the up the cover for the SD card in your phone > press and hold the OFF button using the tip of a pen or a similar object. You will now receive a series of short vibrations and the phone will power off. Charge the phone to 100% while it's powered off and use the phone as normal and see if it continues to shut down.
