How to disable low battery sound notification

As stated, when the phone reachs low battery (30%), it sounds off loudy.

Anyway to disable it?

@Cerru Go into settings - battery, select stamina mode, tap on the cogwheel and change the battery percentage it kicks in.

@Cerro,your XZ low battery juice sounds at 30 %? Is it normal? Mind sounds s at 15%and pleased with such warning as it prepares me how much longer do I isebefore I recharge it.
BTW.. Does any body knows if it's perfecty acceptable to have around 2-5% battery juice left before recharging?. My usage habit enables me to get 14 hours of continuous use before I plug it to the AC out let.

All that does is giving me the option to choose at which percentage does the notification kicks in.

It does not disable the battery sound notification though.

Strange, low battery notification should be at 15% only if I remember correctly.

EDIT: Will try to get more info on this, now I am confused if the percentage is 15% or 30%.

Mine is set at 15%, but it still sounds at 30 and asks if i want to view battery usage.. Wouldnt it be better (save more power) if the phone is quiet so that i dont pick it up and wakes it to check what the sound was about?

It seems that the battery warning should come up at 30% and it can't be disabled.

Hey @Cerru, what you're experiencing is not related to STAMINA but is a system notification. To my knowledge, the only way to make it not emit a sound is by setting you device to either silent or vibration mode.

Regarding at which battery levels the warning comes I'm afraid that I do not have any specifications, other than personal experience at 30% as well as 15%, but I will request that information internally and I'll write here once I know more!

Hello everyone, got some information for you guys!

A low battery notification is displayed when the battery level decreases to 30% of its capacity. If the battery level continues to drop, a second notification is displayed when it reaches 15%.

If the Notification sound is set as None, the sound will be disabled for the first low battery notification (30%) but not for the second (15%). If the device is muted the notification sound is disabled at both battery levels.

How to set the Notification sound to None

From your Home screen, tap the Application screen icon.
Find and tap Settings > Sound > Notification sound.
Find and select None.

This will mute all notification sounds so doesn't really help. Since the android 7 update every time battery hits 30% the default notification sounds. So annoying and no way of muting it.

In my experience if my xz is in normal mode, the battery warning will sound at 30 %, but if in stamina mode it sounds at 15 %

While in STAMINA I did not receive a notification at 30%, so I would say that it's expected behaviour in this case.

Please do something about this. I don't want STAMINA mode and really don't want to have all this irritating notification sounds.. I will throw my phone in to the wall and buy a Samsung if you don't fix this in the next update..

I agree on this! The low battery sound at 30% is insanly loud and completely unnecesary as there is an battery indicator on the top of the screen at all time. Wakes up the whole building in the middle of the night! I tried to turn of the notification sound, but then I don't get sound when I get sms or mms. Idiotic! Fix this!

as far as i know, all android devices doesnt allow changing of low battery notification. not sure though

I understand your concern regarding the feature, and please rest assured that I will forward it internally on your behalf as user feedback.

I'm afraid that I can only refer to my workarounds in my previous post, but I understand that it may be inconvenient for some users as it may have an impact on normal notifications.
