Very weird camera app bug

the camera app doesn't show anything but it still can take shots

Sounds like a possible corruption in the code for live view in the camera app.

You can try:

Going settings/ app/ camera and clearing data and cache.

If this doesn't work

Settings/ apps/ camera and on the top right, three dots/uninstall updates

If that doesn't work

Boot into safe mode (hold power button, then hold down power off until it says rebooting into safe mode)

See if it works.

If works - a 3rd party app is stopping camera functioning correctly, uninstall apps that use camera and retest in normal mode.

If not works- backup your data in Xperia companion and then perform a repair installation.

After latest updates for Xperia XZ2 compact, Phone changed very unstable. Camera worked totally bad. From Backcamera taken shots doesnt appears anywhere on the Phone. Selfiecamera instead worked. Phone gets freezing moments during sitessurffing and restarted by its ownway continuesly. Nothing those previously named happening doesnt appears earlier. All started after latest updates.
