Remove synced contacts

I have a problem. I have several diffrerent Google Accounts on my phone, my personal account, my work account and a couple of accounts for different organizations that I'm a part of (also listed as personal accounts). My problem is that one of the organization accounts is a "joint account" which means that several people have access to this account. Therefore, other people have saved a lot of contacts on that account, contacts that are not relevant to me in any way.

So, I would like to NOT sync the contacts for this accounts. I still want to sync Gmail, Drive and Documents. But I can't find a way to remove or "unsync" these contacts. I have tried severa ways:

- Clearing storage and cache for the apps "Contacts" and "Contacts storage".

- Removing the account -> Turn off "Auto-sync personal data" and "Auto-sync work data" -> Readd the account -> Turn off all data by turning on flight mode -> Turn on "Auto-sync personal data" and "Auto-sync work data" again -> Go into the account and turn off Contacts sync -> Turn on data again.

In all the ways I have tried, the contacts are always synced when I add the account, even though "Auto-sync personal data" is turned off. I talked to the members of the organization and unfortunately I cannot remove any of the several hundred contacts in the organization account.

So, my question is: Is there any way to remove those contacts from my phone without removing them from the account?
