Why One Hand operation disappear in Android 9

i cant find one hand operarion in android 9.0 in my XZ2.

i want to use double tap the home button to appear notification bar. any ideas ?

One-hand mode is activated by swiping over the button bar on the bottom of the screen, either from right to left or from left to right. It still works in Android 9.

That's the only one-hand mode I know of in the Xperias. If you have used something different to pull down the notification bar, as you've mentioned, you might have a 3rd-party launcher installed and need to set this feature there.

i understood yesterday that my friend phone has this feature and

all 6 inch screen sony phones (XA1plus )have this feature.

One-handed mode
Enable one-handed mode to reduce display size so you can type with one hand
more easily. You can adjust the display size as desired.
To enable or disable One-handed mode
1 Find and tap Settings > Display > Advanced > One-handed mode.
2 Tap the slider under One-handed mode to enable or disable the function.
3 To shrink the screen, swipe across the navigation bar.
4 To exit One-handed mode, swipe across the screen or tap an empty area on
the screen.

To adjust the position of the screen
1 To move the screen to the left side or to the right side, tap or
accordingly.
2 To move the screen upward or downward, drag the horizontal stripes at the
edge of the resized screen.
3 To resize the screen, drag at the edge of the resized screen.
