    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi everyone,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My XZ premium has recently started malfunctioning, where the power/lock button has intermittently stopped working&amp;nbsp; and also the volume button doesn't work also.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The phone has not suffered from any physical or liquid damage, and is otherwise working fine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have updated to the latest software version, and have since completely reset the entire phone and restored factory settings also.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The symptoms have improved, and I now have partial use of the power button, but now the volume up button doesn't work at all (previously both up/down.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues&amp;nbsp; and was able to rectify this (without sending to service centre&amp;nbsp; for lengthy &amp;amp; possibly costly diagnosis.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Appreciate any suggestions with this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Craig&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;P. S : YES, I have fully reset the phone.-not just factory settings, full backup &amp;amp; reset . (deleted everything) and have switched the phone off &amp;amp; back on again since.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also the phone&amp;nbsp; is fully charged, and re- charging fine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/554404"&gt;@Craig11&lt;/A&gt;;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What you can do to discard a software issue is make a software repair with Xperia Companion (is better than a factory reset).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, after the factory reset did you tested the device before installing any backup? If not, or if yes and it was working try testing the device in safe mode to discard any third party app influence.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
