Mini failure on phase 2

I follow the instructions however when I plug the phone back in, holding down the backup button, nothing happens.

The computer tells me it notices a semc flash device, however the computer freezes and the phone itself just goes to the battery charge screen.

I have to disconnect the phone and reboot the computer. Luckily the phone still has all its information when I turn it on again.

I tried it on a different computer and no such luck.

FIXED!!! If you have the same problem as I you need to run the computer in 'safe mode with networking'. Try pressing F8 as the computer loads up.

This will by pass the internet security program.

I done this later in the evening as the first time I tried it failed, probably due to busy internet hours.
