You can always bring it into a SE service centre to have it re-flash the firmware for you. That should put things back where they belong. But it might open other cans of worms.....

I've had my X10 for a week now and am thankful I also purchased a cover for the screen (based on feedback)

I'm trying to set up the SE Sync and unfortunately only have the Google Sync available under Settings | Data Synchronisation | Select Sync Application

My old SE phone has ALL my contacts on, and unfortunately uses different PC software so I'm having trouble transferring my contacts etc over via PC.

And I can't get SE Sync online (and I don't want to use the Google Sync)

Any ideas - why doesn't this show up on the phone anywhere?

I just discovered the same thing. Even the in-phone user guide lists using SE sync, but it's not on the phone ??:smileyangry:

try blowing up the Telstra HQ in Sydney. That might make a bigger impact. LOL

As I have mentioned, try going into a SE service centre and tell them to re-flash it for you. Make sure they understand that you want the SE Sync function to be there.

SyncML is now an option o 2.1, so the question to se is as follows. How do I use SyncML to sync with your online server? This is all I ask. I can sync all my other branded se phones (vodaphone), to the server, but not the latest and greatest X10, I just need the settings I'll do it my self, You dont have to send the settings to me and make it easy, as with my C902, K800i, C905 ect.

We get these phones to have the latest and greatest, so when will we get 2.2, or even 2.3?

So in summery this is what I want:

1. When I select my X10 on your server, to be asked for my mobile number, and the settings forwarded to me, same as with all the other phones, not this run about to an option that does not exist on branded phones.

2. When is the intended update to android 2.2, and if its going to happen?

3. Read the blogs, comentaries, all negative, SE competes against HTC, and othes in the android space and if se wants to play a major role in the market, the latest android releases needs to be availiable.

4. I hope the talked about anzu will have the lastest 2.3, or even 3.

I'm a diehard se supporter but I want the newest.
