Sony Ericsson Sync Does not work

Hi,

I have problems with using the Sony Ericsson Sync service, the tool in Organiser. Every time I press the icon, it redirects me to the website, where I have to fill in my username and password, but when I do that, it says - connection error.

P.S. - In the username field I am writing my email adress, because I do not have any. Am I doing something wrong?

Any help will be appreciated!

We recently completed maintenance on our login services. You should check again today to confirm you can login.

I tried again a few minutes ago, but it does not work, the message is - "connection error".

Just in case, I wrote the wrong password on purpose and it said the login failed because of the incorrect credentials - that means the username and password written on the first occasion is correct.

I suggest that you check if a proxy might be disturbing your connection.

Menu> Settings> Connectivity> Destinations> Internet> Options> Edit> Options> Advanced Settings> Proxy server address> Delete any address.

I have posted as question the same problem....I have been folowing this post also.... I have tryed your suggestions and there are no proxy addresses...I am still stuck in the same "Connection error"

Do you know if this happens both when connected via Wi-Fi as 3G?

If not, check if it makes any difference while connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Then I would suggest that you try to reset the phone.

Menu > Settings > Phone > Phone management > Default settings.

After reset go to: Menu > Organizer > Sony Ericsson Sync and try again.

Sounds good, but resetting will delete lots of important data, which I will not be able to back up(App Data for example). If there is any way to save them, I will be glad to hear.

And is not there any other solution? Or is anybody able to sign in to SE Sync Service? Is it sure it is not a problem of SE itself?

Now I am really confused!!! So far I had trouble sunchronizing my vivaz pro phone with the online tool but when I was registering to the Dashboar via my PC I was able to see all my data (contacts, notes, calendar etc)

After several unsuccessful tries to connect to the online tool with my phone (getting the msg Connection error) no it seems I have lost my data on the Dashboard (https://account.sonyericsson.com/login?cc=gb&lc=en&oauth_token=47c6c1b5-23c0-47ae-a035-2bfb4502d093 )

When I logged in today with my usual login and pass it shows no data and says No sync yet ?!?!?!?!?!

What is happening with the system and where is my data ????

I have the same problem, after reseeting my phone i have lost important contacts from it as i backed up using sony erricson sync, when i log on to the sync section i get no information in either calander or contacts and it says no sync has been performed - i really hope that the information can be recovered, also when is the system going to be up and running again ? i was last told 24 - 48 hrs but that was 3 days ago

Actually, what happened to the Vivaz Community on the forum? The Vivaz page doesn't exist any more. Is that because the phone creates too much problems? : ))))

Same here, I try to login, but changes my username which is my email to just my name and then won't log in. Works from a pc, but not on the phone. REALLY frustrating!!!!

I can't even set up the sync ...

Finally got past all the original connection errors which were occuring when I pressed next (that one was a gateway problem), then once past that connection error when I logged in, finally managed to click accept then I get nothing, the phone crashes for ages before finally coming back to the phones menu again.
